Venue Partners

All of our events are held at venues that are locally operated.

We partner with local farms and art galleries because they nourish body and soul. These are the places we go to find our way through the thresholds.

9417 North Foothills Hwy Longmont, CO 80503

An iconic yellow barn on North Foothills Highway stands equidistant (10 minutes) from Boulder, Longmont and Lyons . A sign reading “Allen’s Farm” welcomes you to a family owned farm, originally an international equestrian center. The family has chosen to revitalize this land for low-scale, high-quality food production, community supported agriculture, and sustainability education.

In partnership with Drylands Agroecology Research, Yellow Barn Farm is researching, implementing, and cultivating practices of regenerative farming, animal management, carbon sequestration, soil health, and dynamic/adaptable organizational structures.

Upon arriving for classes and events at Yellow Barn Farm, take in the natural landscape of the foothills to the West and notice the land being cultivated. You are a part of this regenerating community living symbiotically with humans, plants, animals, soil and elements.

Elk Run Farm is a research, demonstration and education site for Drylands Agroecology Research (D.A.R.). In November of 2015, (D.A.R) began managing 14 acres of land in rural North Boulder County on the front range of Colorado. The land, although zoned for agriculture, had not been farmed or ranched in at least 15 years. Remnants of a cattle operation and clues of overgrazing were left. Dry and barren fields remained as a prairie dog colony grew. Little if any topsoil was present, and biodiversity was minimal. A typical example of desertification in the brittle climate of the southwest, D.A.R saw this as a perfect opportunity to demonstrate the power of regenerative design.
